El Tucan Jungle Lodge - Puerto Viejo de Talamanca

The room was really nice, with a cool design and a cozy bed. I liked the balcony too, perfect for chillin'. the bathroom had a walk-in shower and they provided towels 🛁.

The setting was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, near the many beautiful beaches, and the surrounding area. Luckily it was close to Pause Cafe Rio Negro, had pastries there when it was cold outside.

Private and simple hotel, had great stay.

The hotel was located not far from the caribbean jungle next to a river as well as supermarkets. There was a huge variety of appetising meals. The location was stunning and perfect, to Playa Cocles beach. It also was within 10 min walking distance to Playa Cocles.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast with top-notch coffee and fresh eggs 🍳. the stunning location is super close to the Costa Rican rainforest, making it easy to spot lots of wildlife 🌿.

Great spot, close to nature and all the cool stuff around. Had a room with nice, hot showers 🚿.

Nature-filled location: Wake up to the sounds of howler monkeys and a beautiful chorus of birds that lasts all day, with views of the ocean and lush forest 🌳. the units come with warm showers for a comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at El Tucan Jungle Lodge and would definitely return. the hotel was fairly clean and had a simple, cozy vibe. the location was quiet and conveniently close to both the beach and the rainforest. It was only a 10-minute drive to a public library, which was great.

stayed in puerto viejo before but el tucan exceeded all expectations. amazing jungle sounds at night, comfy bungalows with a hammock, and irene's helpfulness made the trip memorable. a hidden paradise.

The breakfast at El Tucan Jungle Lodge offers a variety of options like fresh bread and fruit. the hotel's location is fantastic, being close to the beach, surrounded by the Caribbean jungle, a river, and other attractions. Staying here feels like being in the heart of the rainforest.

We recently had a romantic escape and there were a few things we really enjoyed about this place. the location was incredible. We were surrounded by nature and the sounds of the animals were so relaxing. It really felt like we were in the middle of the jungle. Secondly, the cabin we stayed in was very charming. It had a rustic feel to it and the windows opened up to let in the cool jungle breeze. It was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Lastly, the breakfast offered was simple but enjoyable. The fruit salad was particularly delicious.

There were a few things that we didn't particularly like about this place. the room could have been cleaner.

my recent stay in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca was incredible, but my romantic getaway at a jungle lodge exceeded all expectations. The setting amidst nature, the abundance of wildlife, and the warm hospitality of the hosts made it an unforgettable experience. I loved being able to immerse myself in the sounds and sights of the jungle, with sloths, toucans, monkeys. It truly was a magical stay.

Lights outside rooms were too bright.
